AEW star PAC, whose real name was Benjamin Satterley, has died at the age of 40, with the news coming less than a day after his final wrestling appearance at AEW All Out. All Elite Wrestling confirmed his passing on September 27, remembering the British wrestler for his innovative style and exceptional in-ring performances.
PAC competed at Saturday’s All Out event in Chicago, where he challenged Andrade El Idolo for the AEW National Championship. He lost the match but shook Andrade’s hand afterward before returning later in the show.
PAC Made a Final Appearance During the Main Event
PAC was involved in the night’s main event between Jon Moxley and Will Ospreay for the AEW World Championship. He appeared alongside his Death Riders stablemate Moxley, making his final AEW appearance only hours before his death.
AEW has not announced a cause of death or provided additional details about Satterley’s passing. TMZ first reported the news, while AEW subsequently confirmed the wrestler’s death.
Satterley began his professional wrestling career in 2004 and became one of Britain’s most recognizable wrestlers. He joined AEW in 2019 and became the inaugural AEW All-Atlantic Champion, while also winning the AEW World Trios Championship twice.
Before joining AEW, Satterley wrestled for WWE under the name Neville. During his WWE career, he won the NXT Championship and became a two-time Cruiserweight Champion.
PAC’s sudden death following his final performance has left the wrestling community mourning one of the sport’s most distinctive high-flyers.
