Aubrey O’Day is once again speaking out about Sean “Diddy” Combs, arguing that the music mogul is not suffering as much behind bars as some might assume. During an appearance on TMZ Live on October 5, the former Danity Kane singer criticized reports about Combs’ alleged treatment in prison and questioned how the public will respond when he eventually leaves custody.
O’Day has been outspoken about Combs for years, including allegations that he attempted to silence former Bad Boy artists. Her latest comments focus on both his reported prison conditions and the possibility of a major celebration following his release.
Aubrey O’Day Questions Diddy’s Reported Prison Perks
Speaking with TMZ, O’Day sarcastically listed the comforts she believes Combs has allegedly been able to access while incarcerated, including “whiskey, pizza, pasta, massages and Instagram.” She also referenced the allegations surrounding contraband alcohol and other reported privileges.
TMZ previously reported that prison officials investigated claims concerning Combs receiving unusually comfortable treatment while incarcerated. He was subsequently placed in solitary confinement during the investigation.
O’Day’s criticism goes beyond Combs’ reported prison conditions, however. She is particularly concerned about what could happen once he is released.
O’Day pointed to the reaction surrounding Combs’ legal proceedings as evidence that he could still have a significant group of supporters waiting for him. She referenced celebrations outside court following his verdict and argued that some people appear prepared to embrace him despite the serious allegations and legal proceedings surrounding his case.
Her comments come shortly after rapper Too $hort told TMZ that he intends to attend Combs’ first party following his release.
O’Day has previously claimed that Combs attempted to secure her silence by offering publishing rights connected to former Bad Boy artists in exchange for nondisclosure agreements. She said she rejected the proposed arrangement.
Combs is currently scheduled for release in January 2028, according to the report. His eventual return to the public spotlight could therefore become another major moment in the continuing fallout surrounding his legal case and music career.
