The family of Celeste Rivas continues to endure an emotional court process as the preliminary hearing involving D4vd moves forward. Speaking outside the courthouse, family attorney Patrick Steinfeld said Celeste’s loved ones remain overwhelmed by the allegations and are still searching for answers about the case.
In comments to TMZ, Steinfeld said the family is “disheartened and broken” as they listen to testimony presented during the hearing. He also explained that Celeste’s parents are struggling to understand the allegations surrounding their daughter’s death.
Steinfeld said the family decided to leave court early on Wednesday to prepare for testimony expected from the medical examiner, which he believes will be especially difficult to hear. He noted that the previous day’s proceedings had already taken a significant emotional toll after graphic evidence was presented in court.
The attorney said the family is focused on finding the strength to continue attending the hearings as the legal process unfolds. The allegations discussed during the preliminary hearing have not yet been proven in court, and the case remains ongoing.
