Dolly Parton’s sister, Freida Parton, has pushed back against reports of a family dispute following the country music icon’s death and recent tensions involving their nephew, Bryan Seaver.
In an Instagram statement on September 23, Freida said there is
“no feud within our family”
and insisted that nobody in the Parton/Owens family is fighting over Dolly’s estate. She also emphasized that the family continues to care about Seaver despite the controversy surrounding him.

Freida specifically addressed reports involving Seaver, who was recently removed from his position overseeing security at properties connected to Dolly.
“We all love Bryan, just as we all love each other,”
Freida wrote, adding,
“I love you all!! 🤍”
Her comments come amid allegations involving Seaver and Dolly’s longtime manager, Danny Nozell. Nozell recently sought a restraining order against Seaver, alleging threatening and intimidating behavior. According to TMZ, the dispute has reportedly created concerns among staff members.
Seaver had also been selected by Dolly to announce her death publicly, making his recent involvement in the controversy particularly notable.
Despite the allegations and growing public attention, Freida’s statement makes clear that she does not view the situation as an internal family feud. Her comments suggest that the family remains united while the dispute involving Seaver and Nozell continues to develop.
