Fitness influencer Connor Murphy, known for his bodybuilding content and “looksmaxxing” videos on YouTube and Instagram, has died at the age of 32 following a reported drowning incident in Thailand. Local authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding his death.
Murphy built a large online following during the mid-2010s by sharing fitness advice, workout routines, and physique-focused content, attracting hundreds of thousands of followers across social media platforms.

According to Thai news outlet Thai Rath, Murphy reportedly returned to a luxury residential village by taxi before allegedly displaying erratic behavior. Reports state that after an interaction with another driver, he fled through the neighborhood and entered a nearby lake.
Authorities said he continued swimming until he became exhausted. Rescue divers from the Poh Teck Tung Foundation later recovered his body after an extensive search.
Murphy’s girlfriend, speaking anonymously to local media, reportedly said she had “never saw him use drugs” and claimed she had not noticed any unusual behavior before the incident.
Thai authorities have not announced an official cause of death beyond the reported drowning. According to local reports, investigators found unused syringes and unidentified white pills in Murphy’s vehicle, while his rental home reportedly showed signs of disorder. Officials have not publicly linked those findings to the cause of death, and the investigation remains active.
