NBA star James Harden is no longer facing a misdemeanor gun charge in Texas after prosecutors dismissed the case following an alternative resolution agreement. According to TMZ and court documents cited in its report, the Harris County District Attorney requested the dismissal after confirming Harden had completed the agreement.
Harden was arrested in Houston on June 13 after police said officers found a handgun in his vehicle during a traffic stop. Authorities alleged the firearm was in plain view and was not secured in a holster, leading to a charge of unlawful carrying of a weapon. He was later released on bond.
