Kanye West and Bianca Censori were seen leaving Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport in a chauffeured SUV, while Ye’s former chief of staff, Milo Yiannopoulos, faced a very different exit from the United States.
According to TMZ, the couple left New Orleans shortly after Yiannopoulos was detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Yiannopoulos was later deported to the United Kingdom.
Yiannopoulos had legally entered the United States in 2019 but overstayed his authorized stay. A final removal order was issued in July after he failed to appear for an immigration hearing.
The developments did not affect Ye’s scheduled performance at the Caesars Superdome. TMZ reported that Kanye performed for approximately two and a half hours without publicly mentioning Yiannopoulos’ ICE detention or subsequent deportation.
The Department of Homeland Security confirmed that Yiannopoulos had been removed from the U.S. and returned to his home country. Meanwhile, Ye and Bianca continued their travels after leaving New Orleans.
