According to TMZ’s exclusive report, Rose Bean Polansky was born on June 9, 2026, at 11:19 p.m. PT in Los Angeles. The report states that the couple used a surrogate, although Gaga and Polansky have not publicly explained their decision.
Gaga has previously spoken about living with fibromyalgia and the impact chronic pain has had on her life. In her 2017 documentary Gaga: Five Foot Two, the singer discussed her experiences with the condition, while she later told Oprah Winfrey in 2020 that she experienced significant pain.
Gaga said during that interview that she was in “head-to-toe pain,” highlighting the physical challenges she had faced. In 2025, she said her condition was under control but acknowledged that she continued to experience occasional “pain days.”
The couple’s daughter was reportedly delivered by Dr. Robert Katz, an OB-GYN who previously helped Ciara and Russell Wilson welcome their daughter Sienna.
The name Rose also appears to have personal significance for Gaga. The singer has a rose tattoo on her back, which is associated with her performance of “La Vie En Rose” in the Oscar-nominated musical drama A Star Is Born.
