Chase McWhorter, the former partner of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Miranda Hope, has resolved his DUI case through a plea agreement that allows him to avoid jail time. According to TMZ, McWhorter pleaded guilty to one misdemeanor DUI charge, while prosecutors dropped the remaining charges in exchange for probation and other penalties.
Court documents obtained by TMZ show that a judge approved the agreement, sentencing McWhorter to one year of probation, a $1,383 fine, 48 hours of community service, and a substance abuse evaluation.
The case stems from McWhorter’s arrest during the Fourth of July weekend in 2025, as previously reported by The U.S. Sun. Police said they stopped his vehicle after it repeatedly drifted outside its lane. Officers also reported smelling alcohol and observed bloodshot eyes and slurred speech, leading to his arrest on DUI and controlled substance possession charges. With the plea deal finalized, the criminal case has now been resolved without a jail sentence.
