Madison Square Garden has reportedly taken disciplinary action against staff following alleged breaches of confidentiality agreements tied to the wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. According to reporting by Bloomberg journalist Myles Miller, employees who violated the event’s strict non-disclosure rules were dismissed after the incident.
The wedding, described as one of the most tightly controlled celebrity events in recent memory, was reportedly governed by extensive NDAs designed to prevent any information leaks about the ceremony or guest list.
Phones banned and NDAs enforced at venue
Security at the venue was reportedly heightened to an unusual degree. Staff and attendees were required to surrender their phones upon entry, ensuring no images or recordings could be taken during the event. Miller also confirmed earlier reports that law enforcement and security personnel enforced a strict “no devices” policy throughout the venue.
“Every person walking in had their phones taken and no one was allowed to enter the building ahead of the wedding,”
Miller reported, highlighting the level of secrecy surrounding the ceremony.
Madison Square Garden has not publicly responded to requests for comment regarding the alleged firings or the enforcement of NDAs.
Despite the heavy restrictions, some details about the wedding have still surfaced through secondary reports. The ceremony reportedly included a performance by comedian and actor Adam Sandler, who is said to have performed an original song for the couple. Members of the Kelce family, including Jason and Kylie Kelce’s children, reportedly took part as flower girls during the event.
Following the ceremony, guests were treated to catering from Zero Bond, a well-known New York restaurant frequently visited by Swift, along with carnival-style entertainment designed to keep attendees engaged throughout the celebration.
Although official confirmation remains limited due to NDAs, reports suggest the wedding attracted a major celebrity turnout. Names linked to the guest list include Jennifer Lopez, Tom Cruise, Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton, Reese Witherspoon, Paul McCartney, and Stevie Nicks, among others.
Additional sightings of guests leaving Madison Square Garden in the early hours of the morning further fueled speculation about the scale and exclusivity of the event.
