Curry became a cultural icon after starring in the 1975 musical comedy horror film The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Although the movie received limited attention when it first premiered, it eventually became one of the most famous midnight movie experiences, gaining a devoted global fanbase.

Beyond his legendary performance as Frank-N-Furter, Curry appeared in numerous memorable projects throughout his career.
