San Francisco 49ers offensive tackle Trent Williams is facing a lawsuit from a Washington-based auto dealer over an alleged unpaid lease for a Porsche 911. According to TMZ, OpenRoad Auto Group claims Williams leased the 2018 sports car in 2021 and agreed to make 48 monthly payments.
The company alleges Williams made only the first two payments, totaling $10,617.26, in August and September 2021. The lawsuit claims no further lease payments were made after that.
OpenRoad reportedly alleges that Williams authorized automatic withdrawals from his bank account for the lease before closing the account shortly after signing the agreement. The company also claims it no longer knows where the Porsche is located and suggests the vehicle may have been transferred through another dealership.
According to the lawsuit, the alleged unpaid lease balance has reached $244,199.28, excluding additional fees, costs and other charges. OpenRoad is suing Williams for breach of contract, fraud and related claims.
The lawsuit comes months after Williams agreed to a lucrative new contract with the 49ers. TMZ reports that the veteran offensive lineman signed a two-year, $50 million extension in April 2026.
Williams has not publicly responded to the allegations, and the claims in the lawsuit have not been proven in court.
